Step into a supportive, light-hearted space where arm balances become possible.

In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll explore the technique and playfulness behind these empowering poses, building confidence as you move at your own pace.

We’ll flow together, dive into the breath, and touch on yoga philosophy in a way that feels real and practical.

Along the way, you’ll have plenty of hands-on guidance and we’ll finish with a creative sequence that brings your new skills to life.

To keep you fuelled and grounded, healthy refreshments will be available throughout the day.


Workshop Structure

(4 hours total)

Fluid structure, subject to change slightly.

0:00 – 0:15 | Welcome & grounding

  • Arrivals, tea/snacks available.

  • Short intro circle (set intentions, ice-breaker).

0:15 – 1:00 | Flow 1 – Gentle, grounding, breath-led

  • Warm up, connect to breath.

  • Gentle strengthening to prep wrists, shoulders, and core.

  • Grounding flow to get everyone comfortable and open.

1:00 – 1:20 | Talk 1 – Breath as Foundation

  • Why breath matters in yoga (performance + daily life).

  • Easy, practical takeaway exercise.

1:20 – 2:20 | Technique & Play – Arm Balance Workshop

  • Break down 3 key balances (Crow, Koundinyasana, and more, modifications and variations provided)

  • Drills, props, and playful exploration.

  • A fun vibe, not perfection.

2:20 – 2:40 | Break – Refreshments

  • Healthy snacks, tea.

  • Informal conversations and Q&A.

2:40 – 3:00 | Talk 2 – Philosophy in Action

  • Core principles of yoga philosophy.

  • Real-world applications: work, relationships, self-care.

3:00 – 3:45 | Flow 2 – Integrating Arm Balances

  • Creative, energising vinyasa sequence that includes balances.

  • Builds progressively. all levels feel accomplished.

  • End with grounding stretches.

3:45 – 4:00 | Closing

  • Closing & reflections.
